Pound A Pop - Milani & Sally Hansen

Harmlessly walking around the pound shop picking up some sweets and the beauty gods were with me. Milani. How I've craved to have Milani in the UK and in my life. So I went a little cray and picked up a few bronzers and just to fulfil my never-ending nail obsession some cute Sally Hansen nail polishes.
Ladies & Gentleman, this is a mini pound a pop haul.
I friggin love a bargain.

For those who want to know I went to the Pound shop in Lakeside Retail Park.

I pick up 3 Milani Sunset Duos which is a compact with a blush and bronzer included.
All the bronzers are matt in finish which I love because I've been looking for 1 and now I have 3! Each of the blushers have shimmer in them creating luminosity. I particularly like the bright pink (05 sunset breeze) to create a warm flush of colour.

I also picked up two of the Milani All-Over Colour Glimmer Stripes which remind me of Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks and my now shattered-into-a-gajillion-pieces Body Shop Shimmer Waves.

I got 09 Terra Glimmer and 10 Berry Glimmer.
Usually I am so heavily reliant on bronzers and golds but I am actually so excited to try these berry hues. The darkest stripe in the Berry compact is a light burgundy or burnished pink which I feel will create a warm natural flush particularly for my skin tone. I am yet to test these so if you want a separate review tell me on bloglovin, twitter or comment a la comment box.

Finally I managed to pick up two Sally Hansen Nail Polishes from the Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear range. A multi-tone purple called Plum Power and a concrete light grey called Wet Cement.
There was a mint green exactly like the one in my previous Sally Hansen review seen here too. Can't believe - these - were - still - only- one pound - EACH.

Okay I have to admit I've been skeptical of the ole pound shop make-up after the dispatches episode that channel 4 documented. However for a pound each I'll give them a try, if I like the texture enough of the Milani products I'm more likely to import them from America.

I really want to try their lipsticks - Americans TELL ME WHATS WHAT!

lots of love
